Most schools use Super Teacher in the classroom, but exactly how teachers use it varies a lot.

The most impact comes when teachers use it every day to give children 15-20 minutes per day of tutoring in reading and math, often using it to “pre-teach” rather than “re-teach,” covering topics in Super Teacher before they're covered in class. Other teachers use it for choice time or as part of centers, stations, or during RTI time or WIN periods. Others teachers use it for interventions, and many dedicated interventionists will provide it during their intervention time with students.

In addition to being used during the school day, it can also be recommended for use at home as a supplement, or during after-school programs or summers to prevent the “summer slide.”

Yes. Super Teacher aligned with the science of reading before it was cool, and before it was mandatory in states that have now passed so-called “Science of Reading laws”. The ELA content in Super Teacher is centered on phonics, focusing on phonemic awareness.

Super Teacher also aligns with the more general science of learning, including the science of math instruction, even though that’s not cool or mandatory yet. Yes. We take a safety-oriented approach to AI, putting privacy first. Super Teacher is COPPA and FERPA compliant, and the camera never goes on at all. Super Teacher is voice enabled, but voice data is deleted promptly after transcription. As a general rule, we collect as little data as possible, use it only for the reason it was collected as outlined in our documentation, and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary. And because the lessons are pre-scripted, Super Teacher doesn't suffer from the "hallucinations" or errors seen in other AI-powered products.
